Iago Bala could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Timmy Kjellkvist made a huge save. Jorginho Quirino made in the 13th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Dreas Jamieson however managed to control. If Dan Waller had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 18th minute the ball was on its way in behind America Futebol Clube SP's goalkeeper Stefan Rasiak, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Viorel Moldovan in the 26th minute of play forced America Futebol Clube SP's goalkeeper Stefan Rasiak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched FC Hans eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
