Radomir Zurawski came out of the goal in the 3rd minute to try and stop a shot by Goral Zywiec's Antoni Bartoszek. But to his dismay, Antoni Bartoszek quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Radomir Zurawski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antoni Bartoszek in the 10th minute of play. 11 minutes into the match, RW AHLEN-KNURÓW's goal looked a bit too open when Victorino Frederik came free, but Radomir Zurawski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A sloppy throw-in by Gilbert Glogowski in the 13th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by RW AHLEN-KNURÓW's Arthur Devos. Radomir Zurawski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antoni Bartoszek in the 19th minute of the match. Radomir Zurawski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antoni Bartoszek in the 20th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonard Popowicz in the 22nd minute of play forced Goral Zywiec's goalkeeper Michael Krawczyk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Radomir Zurawski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tobias Abechuco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A throw-in in the 37th minute of the game was made by Izydor Plucinik with Antoni Bartoszek as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. RW AHLEN-KNURÓW's Roman Miskiewicz managed to work through Goral Zywiec's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Roman Miskiewicz dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. A collision led to RW AHLEN-KNURÓW getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Roman Miskiewicz hit a great ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Leonard Popowicz was the one to do the kick off. Michael Krawczyk showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leonard Popowicz, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. RW AHLEN-KNURÓW's Radomir Zurawski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save RW AHLEN-KNURÓW from getting a goal against them. Andrzej Puchlik's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Radomir Zurawski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 70th minute of play. Michael Krawczyk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonard Treppa in the 72nd minute of play. In the 92nd minute of the match, Barry White got a very nice opportunity to score, but Radomir Zurawski was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The crowd rose to their feet as Barry White kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Radomir Zurawski. That made the score 0-3 in the 92 minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Leonard Treppa in the 96th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Michael Krawczyk saved Goral Zywiec from getting behind. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Goral Zywiec walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
