With a little luck, AJ Juventus FC's Mambru Puertas got control of the ball when Sulo Montaña tried to sneak it across the goal line. Mambru Puertas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Özgür Özbay, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. In the 80th minute of the match AJ Juventus FC got a corner. LOI's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Genaro Valdemoro ran over to the corner to take the kick. When Leoncio Abarzua came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the AJ Juventus FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leoncio Abarzua couldn't finish the play. 93 minutes into the game, AJ Juventus FC's Toma Cabeza nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. George Buturugã made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4.
