Monks in Robes's Mihăiţă Opriș quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Mei Zhi Jun, made in the 9th minute of the game. 11 minutes into the match, Monks in Robes's Axel Ree sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ruslan Rúklyov narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A sloppy throw-in by Malcolm Mattsson in the 13th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by VN BAKITO's Mei Zhi Jun. Ruslan Rúklyov stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Axel Ree's shot from short distance in the 16th minute. In the 20thth minute of the game Denimir Tzonkov who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Monks in Robes's Kristen Gulskov was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 22nd minute, Mei Zhi Jun hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Denimir Tzonkov recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ruslan Rúklyov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Axel Ree, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Axel Ree in the 34th minute of play forced VN BAKITO's goalkeeper Ruslan Rúklyov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Axel Ree recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Malcolm Mattsson made in the 38th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by VN BAKITO's Mei Zhi Jun. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

After some careless play in the VN BAKITO defense, Axel Ree kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ruslan Rúklyov. The VN BAKITO fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ruslan Rúklyov should have stopped the shot. Patrick Viera hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. The supporters of VN BAKITO booed when Monks in Robes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Patrick Viera didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kristen Gulskov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gerasim Berberov, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. When VN BAKITO's Rusi Plochev in the 60th minute got a chance for a shot 60th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Monks in Robes's goalie prevented a goal. Kristen Gulskov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Denimir Tzonkov in the 63rd minute of play. VN BAKITO were awarded a corner in the 66th minute after Monks in Robes's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Blagoy Banovski took the corner. The corner led VN BAKITO's Blagoy Banovski to fire away a dangerous shot which Kristen Gulskov despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 68th minute Denimir Tzonkov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kristen Gulskov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 84th minute, Gerasim Berberov made a precise shot to the right of Kristen Gulskov. Monks in Robes's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Ruslan Rúklyov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Axel Ree, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Monks in Robes succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though VN BAKITO had controlled the match.
