After a rather tough play, F.C internazionale's Mathijs Reuters got a free kick in the 25th minute. Mustafa Cumhur Gök stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Pedro Velloso's shot from short distance in the 39th minute. In the 40th minute Gracie Barra were awarded a corner. Şamil Sağman went to the cornerflag to take it. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Augusto Saldanha made a kick off. When F.C internazionale's Erkut Cenan in the 51st minute got a chance for a shot 51st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Erkut Cenan showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-3. Gracie Barra's Nilton Botelho was substituted for Pedro Velloso. Gracie Barra's Snorri De Hond was substituted for Augusto Saldanha. In the 79th minute Nilton Botelho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mustafa Cumhur Gök saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Falcão Cunha made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Okaner Necmi sent off a good shot on target. Şamil Sağman scored 2-3 in the 83rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mustafa Cumhur Gök, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 91st match minute, F.C internazionale was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tomasz Hajto to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the F.C internazionale defense, Nilton Botelho kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mustafa Cumhur Gök. The F.C internazionale fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mustafa Cumhur Gök should have stopped the shot. After 95 played minutes Gracie Barra got a freekick which was hit by Olavo Costa. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
