A collision led to Downchester City getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mikolaj Giertych in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fumo Canuto prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A nice corner shot did that Jack Sugar got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Fumo Canuto quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After 42 played minutes Downchester City got a freekick which was hit by Ángel De Silva. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mikolaj Giertych made a kick off. After some careless play in the KS Olimpia Warszawa defense, Jose Heredia kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Waldemar Cwynar. The KS Olimpia Warszawa fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Waldemar Cwynar should have stopped the shot. In the 60th minute Jose Heredia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Waldemar Cwynar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Waldemar Cwynar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andrés Figueroa in the 61st minute of the match. After a rather tough play, KS Olimpia Warszawa's Rafal Trzenzalski got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Rafal Trzenzalski kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Waldemar Cwynar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jose Heredia in the 72nd minute of play. Downchester City's Carlos Marchena was substituted for Sebastián Jaen. Waldemar Cwynar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Beila Marcilla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 80th minute, Downchester City's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Walery Glapiak fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Downchester City's Beila Marcilla managed to work through KS Olimpia Warszawa's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Beila Marcilla dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Sharma Sharma could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Fumo Canuto made a huge save. In the 84th minute, Sharma Sharma made a precise shot to the right of Fumo Canuto. Downchester City's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. 93 minutes into the game, Rafal Trzenzalski threw the ball into play from the sideline. Downchester City's Ángel De Silva quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Downchester City were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest.
