An unexpectedly hard shot by Zhao Sen Yang in the 27th minute of play forced Golden Lions FC's goalkeeper Anders Lundqvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Diki Doro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sigvard Dahlkvist in the 29th minute of play. In the 29thth minute of the game Sigvard Dahlkvist who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s Diki Doro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Markus Svensson in the 31st minute of play forced Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s goalkeeper Diki Doro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 32 minutes had been played when some careless play by Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. In the 47th match minute, Golden Lions FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Georg Termander to maneuver through the defense.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Zhao Sen Yang to strike the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s zone, Markus Svensson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Diki Doro came out of the goal and Markus Svensson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Golden Lions FC made a substitution. With a little luck, Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s Diki Doro got control of the ball when Mats Nyström tried to sneak it across the goal line. Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s Diki Doro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM- from getting a goal against them. Anders Lundqvist stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Zhao Sen Yang's shot from short distance in the 91st minute. 94 minutes into the match, Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s goal looked a bit too open when Loco Durazno came free, but Diki Doro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s Diki Doro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Loco Durazno in the 94th minute of play. In the 96th minute, Loco Durazno ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Diki Doro was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Golden Lions FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
