The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s Emil Wielopolski got a free kick in the 12th minute. 21 minutes into the match, Tabachana F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Emil Wielopolski came free, but Ingvar Nykvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Diki Doro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thodoris Tassoulis in the 25th minute of play. Tabachana F.C.'s Ingvar Nykvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emil Wielopolski in the 26th minute of play. 33 minutes into the match, Denílson Tepedino dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Diki Doro, 2-0. When Emil Wielopolski, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 36 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Ingvar Nykvist was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. In the 39th minute, Tabachana F.C.'s Denílson Tepedino dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. In the 41st minute, Primitivo Grau left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM- fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Denílson Tepedino was the one to do the kick off. Denílson Tepedino might have been able to make a better finish in the 53rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Diki Doro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Denílson Tepedino ran back to his position shaking his head. Diki Doro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Denílson Tepedino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 55 minutes into the match, Tabachana F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Zhao Sen Yang came free, but Ingvar Nykvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zhao Sen Yang in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ingvar Nykvist saved Tabachana F.C. from getting behind. Diki Doro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Denílson Tepedino in the 59th minute of play. Diki Doro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Denílson Tepedino, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Denílson Tepedino in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Diki Doro saved Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM- from getting behind. Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s Mugurel Pandele was substituted for İlhami Akyazıcı. Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s Grigore Maghiran was substituted for Dacian Tilea. 72 minutes into the game, Zhao Sen Yang recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ingvar Nykvist. Zhao Sen Yang showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 4-3. With a little luck, Tabachana F.C.'s Ingvar Nykvist got control of the ball when Primitivo Grau tried to sneak it across the goal line. Denílson Tepedino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the referee ended the match the Tabachana F.C. players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
