Vasco Rovira was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 19 played minutes Deportivo Ortegano got a freekick which was hit by Cesario Valensuela. After 22 minutes, Igor Birjaio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Club El Progreso and the Deportivo Ortegano players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 23rd minute, Igor Birjaio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vasco Rovira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pascual Gomesano, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Club El Progreso's Federico Salvidor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jones Ice-Cream Guobadia in the 30th minute of play. After 36 played minutes Deportivo Ortegano got a freekick which was hit by Derwin Urruela. Igor Birjaio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Serafino Berria kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. After 44 minutes of play, Deportivo Ortegano's Jacinto Pamanes made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Federico Salvidor was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Blas Telesforo was the one to do the kick off. After 56 played minutes Club El Progreso got a freekick which was hit by Cayetano Brion. Vasco Rovira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rubén Ramon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rubén Ramon kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Serafino Berria recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Vasco Rovira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Blas Telesforo in the 73rd minute of the match. 75 minutes into the match, Deportivo Ortegano's goal looked a bit too open when Rubén Ramon came free, but Vasco Rovira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 80 minutes into the match, Rubén Ramon notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Deportivo Ortegano's Vasco Rovira. Vasco Rovira was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jacinto Pamanes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jacinto Pamanes in the 90th minute of play forced Club El Progreso's goalkeeper Federico Salvidor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vasco Rovira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pascual Gomesano in the 92nd minute of play. Vasco Rovira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pascual Gomesano in the 96th minute of the match.
