In the 2nd match minute, Yalapa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Justo Abecia to maneuver through the defense. 5 minutes into the game, Rossangeles's Rodri Palacios nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Everardo Sal made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Rossangeles's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Attilio Bice in the 12th minute. Justo Abecia tried in the game's 13th match minute to clear up in front of his own goal but it went so bad that he put the ball into the goal to the left of an unhappy Everardo Sal. An annoying self made goal, 3-0. After 17 played minutes Yalapa got a freekick which was hit by Filiberto Dominguez. After some careless play in the Yalapa defense, Rodri Palacios kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Everardo Sal. The Yalapa fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Everardo Sal should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Rossangeles's Zheng Cheng Qi got a free kick in the 27th minute. Franco Moscatelli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Virgilio Paulin in the 35th minute of play. In the 35th match minute, Yalapa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Urbano Ramond to maneuver through the defense. Zheng Cheng Qi charged in rather forcefully in the 36th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Zheng Cheng Qi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 36th minute, Zheng Cheng Qi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 6-0 became the score in the 39th minute when Rodri Palacios elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Cai Shi Sheng's late challenge caught a Yalapa's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cai Shi Sheng helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Rossangeles's Cai Shi Sheng got a free kick in the 45th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 6-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Virgilio Paulin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Rossangeles getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Annadeva Flumian hit a great ball. A hard shot by Godofredo Hodei from long distance, 53 minutes into the match, got Franco Moscatelli's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. After 59 played minutes Yalapa got a freekick which was hit by Leon Otoniel. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 61st minute of the game. One of Yalapa:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Rossangeles:s goal. Everardo Sal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zheng Cheng Qi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 67 minutes of play Yalapa's Justo Abecia was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 68th match minute, Yalapa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Justo Abecia to maneuver through the defense. 69 minutes into the match, Yalapa's goal looked a bit too open when Rodri Palacios came free, but Everardo Sal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zheng Cheng Qi hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Yalapa's Everardo Sal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodri Palacios in the 74th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rodri Palacios in the 84th minute of play forced Yalapa's goalkeeper Everardo Sal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Franco Moscatelli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Virgilio Paulin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Everardo Sal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Annadeva Flumian in the 87th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Yalapa's Mateo Iturri got a free kick in the 89th minute. The supporters of Rossangeles booed when Yalapa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mateo Iturri didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zheng Cheng Qi in the 92nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Everardo Sal saved Yalapa from getting behind.
