If Marian Banas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Juliusz Pierz kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. The supporters of F.C. Sosnowiec booed when The Nerd Herd was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mons Heier didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 18th match minute, The Nerd Herd was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mons Heier to maneuver through the defense. An unexpected shot in the 22nd minute by Marian Banas got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. When Ken Teige fell near the penalty area in the 28th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored The Nerd Herd's protests and gave Ken Teige a yellow card for diving instead. In the 28th minute, Ken Teige hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 29th minute of the match Juliusz Pierz shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Lars Bergo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 30th minute of the game Mons Heier made a throw-in which Ole-Einar Indergård played forward. Marian Banas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Dominik Zworski made a huge save. Dominik Zworski made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Marian Banas sent off a good shot on target. In the 43rd minute, Marian Banas reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Dominik Zworski. The goal made the score 1-0. Marian Banas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dominik Zworski having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

A sloppy throw-in by Aleksander Sobania in the 53rd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by The Nerd Herd's Ole-Einar Indergård. If Marian Banas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 61st match minute, The Nerd Herd was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ken Teige to maneuver through the defense. In the 65th minute, Marian Banas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dominik Zworski was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Marian Banas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Dominik Zworski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lars Bergo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zdzislaw Czciborek in the 72nd minute. If Marian Banas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The corner ended in Juliusz Pierz almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but The Nerd Herd's Lars Bergo did a great save. The Nerd Herd's Lars Bergo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save The Nerd Herd from getting a goal against them. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alf-Inge Låstad during the 97th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Alf-Inge Låstad kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match.
