Daustad's Erik Grøneng played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Percival de Souza in the 4th minute of play. Erik Grøneng took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pedrinho Cruz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Percival de Souza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Percival de Souza could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Erik Grøneng made a huge save. Daustad's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Felippe Palmeira ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led to LauerArmy's José Maria Ramos getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. After 19 played minutes Daustad got a freekick which was hit by Tage Kvammen. Nilmar Barbosa hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jim-André Nybakken in the 29th minute of play forced LauerArmy's goalkeeper Fernandão Vides to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in LauerArmy's zone, Olaf Juul stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fernandão Vides came out of the goal and Olaf Juul tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jim-André Nybakken received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Fernandão Vides tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Erik Grøneng stood somewhat misplaced when Percival de Souza came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 33 minute. Percival de Souza could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Erik Grøneng made a huge save. Pedrinho Cruz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Erik Grøneng made a huge save. 37 minutes into the game, Pedrinho Cruz recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Erik Grøneng. Pedrinho Cruz showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pedrinho Cruz in the 42nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Erik Grøneng prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 46th minute the ball was on its way in behind Daustad's goalkeeper Erik Grøneng, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jim-André Nybakken made a kick off. After some careless play in the Daustad defense, Pedrinho Cruz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Erik Grøneng. The Daustad fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Erik Grøneng should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pedrinho Cruz in the 58th minute of play forced Daustad's goalkeeper Erik Grøneng to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 59 minutes into the match, Pedrinho Cruz notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Daustad's Erik Grøneng. Erik Grøneng was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Percival de Souza managed to get in a good position for a shot. LauerArmy's supporters rose to their feet, but Percival de Souza was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Erik Grøneng breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Tage Kvammen fell near the penalty area in the 65th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Daustad's protests and gave Tage Kvammen a yellow card for diving instead. In the 72ndth minute of the game Percival de Souza who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Daustad's Erik Grøneng was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 84 minutes in the game, Percival de Souza dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. After 88 played minutes Daustad got a freekick which was hit by Arne Hageland. Pedrinho Cruz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Erik Grøneng tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With an all-out effort, Daustad's Fernandão Vides threw himself towards the right post 96 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Martin Stavnes, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. For all the effort they put into the match, the Daustad players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for LauerArmy.
