The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 10thth minute of the game Szymon Wnukowski who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Modlau's Lew Yashin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 11 minutes in the game Lukasz Traczewski did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Stasio Starogardzki. Leonard Motyl took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Artur Adamski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Modlau's Lukasz Traczewski got a free kick in the 14th minute. 16 minutes into the match, Alfred Wyrzykowski notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of MO฿฿YN RANGERS's Leonard Motyl. Leonard Motyl was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 20 minutes into the match, MO฿฿YN RANGERS's Szymon Wnukowski sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lew Yashin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When MO฿฿YN RANGERS's Szymon Wnukowski in the 21st minute got a chance for a shot 21st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Lew Yashin was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Marek Klimkiewicz fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored MO฿฿YN RANGERS's protests and gave Marek Klimkiewicz a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, MO฿฿YN RANGERS's Marek Klimkiewicz got a free kick in the 29th minute. 35 minutes into the match, MO฿฿YN RANGERS's goal looked a bit too open when Alfred Wyrzykowski came free, but Leonard Motyl reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 36th match minute, MO฿฿YN RANGERS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Piotr Skaradoski to maneuver through the defense. Juliusz Slazak recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 40th minute the ball was on its way in behind Modlau's goalkeeper Lew Yashin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 44th minute, Szymon Wnukowski left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The MO฿฿YN RANGERS fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Claudio Fioravanti was the one to do the kick off. After 51 minutes, Antoni Pilarski mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the MO฿฿YN RANGERS and the Modlau players grew even worse after the yellow card. 52 minutes into the match, Modlau's Claudio Fioravanti broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 57th minute Artur Adamski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonard Motyl saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wojciech Pusiak kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Jakub Smuskiewicz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lew Yashin having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Szymon Wnukowski in the 62nd minute of play forced Modlau's goalkeeper Lew Yashin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leonard Motyl acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 64th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Claudio Fioravanti. In the 69th match minute, MO฿฿YN RANGERS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Antoni Pilarski to maneuver through the defense. Leonard Motyl didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Claudio Fioravanti went, in the 76th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. Claudio Fioravanti's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Leonard Motyl firmly grabbed it by the left post. Leonard Motyl made an important save on a dangerous shot by Claudio Fioravanti in the 86th minute. Leonard Motyl was a little too slow when Artur Adamski got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 90th minute. The score was now 2-3. MO฿฿YN RANGERS's attentive Szymon Wnukowski managed to snatch the ball when Artur Adamski made a throw-in in the 93rd minute of the game. Cyprian Bochinski charged in rather forcefully in the 96th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cyprian Bochinski the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 96th match minute, Modlau was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cyprian Bochinski to maneuver through the defense. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see MO฿฿YN RANGERS lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
