Ruben Goito showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bato Gol, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. After some careless play in the Lugano 1 y 2 defense, Bato Gol kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ruben Goito. The Lugano 1 y 2 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ruben Goito should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Lugano 1 y 2 getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Robustiano Palben hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zé Roberto Orange in the 17th minute of play forced Lugano 1 y 2's goalkeeper Ruben Goito to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 19 minutes into the match, Lugano 1 y 2's goal looked a bit too open when Bato Gol came free, but Ruben Goito reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zé Roberto Orange kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. After 21 played minutes Lugano 1 y 2 got a freekick which was hit by Natalio Kepa. After a defensive mix-up in Lugano 1 y 2's zone, Bato Gol stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ruben Goito came out of the goal and Bato Gol tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Marquês de Herval fans' excitement grew in the 28th match minute when Marquês de Herval's Bato Gol looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After a rather tough play, Lugano 1 y 2's Rafael Galoer got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Ruben Goito came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by Marquês de Herval's Oscar Magalhães. But to his dismay, Oscar Magalhães quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. Ruben Goito made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bato Gol in the 48th minute of play. After the first half Marquês de Herval were leading 0-6. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Everardo Ubarna made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Marquês de Herval's Bato Gol dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-7. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Everardo Ubarna during the 58th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 67th minute, Bato Gol left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Marquês de Herval fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-10. After a defensive mix-up in Lugano 1 y 2's zone, Oscar Magalhães stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ruben Goito came out of the goal and Oscar Magalhães tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ruben Goito made a fantastic save in the 74th minute, when Davi Cearense sent off a good shot on target. 76 minutes into the match, Manfredo Domingues had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ruben Goito. Lugano 1 y 2's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Manfredo Domingues was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-11. Ruben Goito took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zé Roberto Orange, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ruben Goito didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 81st minute, which inside left pole to 0-12. In the 85th minute, Zé Roberto Orange reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ruben Goito. The goal made the score 0-13. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oscar Magalhães in the 90th minute of play forced Lugano 1 y 2's goalkeeper Ruben Goito to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ruben Goito acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 91st minute, took the ball on the long shot from Davi Cearense. Celso Viator's late challenge caught a Marquês de Herval's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Celso Viator helped the player get up and apologised. In the 92nd minute, Celso Viator hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 93 minutes into the match, Lugano 1 y 2's goalkeeper Ruben Goito had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bato Gol. Manfredo Domingues took the ball and in the 96 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ruben Goito. Ruben Goito dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-14. Marquês de Herval played a much better game than Lugano 1 y 2 and deserved their victory. The Lugano 1 y 2 players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
