When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Melchor Mirande made a kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arthur Saba in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Adolfo Enetz saved CORNUDOS Fútbol Club from getting behind. 57 minutes into the match, BEST FABIO F.C.'s goalkeeper Ruy Cearense had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Melchor Mirande. In the 62nd minute, Melchor Mirande got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 67th minute Rodrigo Garro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adolfo Enetz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Melchor Mirande had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Adolfo Enetz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rodrigo Garro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 74 minutes into the match, Hélio Barbosa notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of CORNUDOS Fútbol Club's Adolfo Enetz. Adolfo Enetz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. CORNUDOS Fútbol Club's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rodrigo Garro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. CORNUDOS Fútbol Club's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
