The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Jonas Tauro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ruy Cearense having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonas Tauro in the 3rd minute of play forced BEST FABIO F.C.'s goalkeeper Ruy Cearense to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jonas Tauro kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. Ruy Cearense took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonas Tauro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 11 minutes into the match, Jonas Tauro notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of BEST FABIO F.C.'s Ruy Cearense. Ruy Cearense was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of Club Atlético Escocia booed when BEST FABIO F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oscar Tinoco didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 16th minute Jonas Tauro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ruy Cearense saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Club Atlético Escocia booed when BEST FABIO F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vânderson da Cunha didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match clock showed 25 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Jonas Tauro sped through BEST FABIO F.C.'s defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ruy Cearense. The supporters of BEST FABIO F.C. booed when Club Atlético Escocia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Evelio Sotero didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jeronimo Mon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arthur Saba, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonas Tauro in the 36th minute of play forced BEST FABIO F.C.'s goalkeeper Ruy Cearense to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ruy Cearense came out of the goal in the 39th minute to try and stop a shot by Club Atlético Escocia's Jonas Tauro. But to his dismay, Jonas Tauro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 6-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Arthur Saba made a kick off. Ruy Cearense showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anastasio Gagriel in the 52nd minute of the match. Ruy Cearense made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonas Tauro in the 61st minute of play. Jonas Tauro scored 8-0 in the 62nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ruy Cearense, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ruy Cearense showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Clemente Oroitz in the 65th minute of the match. A collision led to Club Atlético Escocia getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Evelio Sotero hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, BEST FABIO F.C.'s Juan Couto got a free kick in the 67th minute. 68 minutes into the match, Jonas Tauro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ruy Cearense. BEST FABIO F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jonas Tauro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 9-0. After 72 played minutes BEST FABIO F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Arthur Saba. In the 74th match minute, Club Atlético Escocia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Evelio Sotero to maneuver through the defense. Ruy Cearense made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Clemente Oroitz in the 76th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Clemente Oroitz in the 87th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ruy Cearense saved BEST FABIO F.C. from getting behind. 89 minutes into the match, Clemente Oroitz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ruy Cearense. BEST FABIO F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Clemente Oroitz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 12-0. In the 93rdth minute of the game Clemente Oroitz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but BEST FABIO F.C.'s Ruy Cearense was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 95th minute of the match Justin Tello sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ruy Cearense skillfully saved the ball. Ruy Cearense took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Clemente Oroitz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 97 played minutes BEST FABIO F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Celsinho Bezerra.
