Hubert Sharp showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ferdinand Petre in the 59th minute of the match. 60 minutes into the match, AFC Richmond's goal looked a bit too open when Ferdinand Petre came free, but Hubert Sharp reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aron Lockhart might have been able to make a better finish in the 64th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ştefan Vârlan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Valeriu Amurăriței scored 2-0 in the 69th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hubert Sharp, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Thanos Psarros hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. In the 75th minute Valeriu Amurăriței shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hubert Sharp saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hubert Sharp made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ferdinand Petre in the 80th minute of play. 83 minutes had been played when some careless play by Purcaresti CSS's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Fatsali Hamdi was slow to take the kick. During this time AFC Richmond's players had a chance to rest. In the 87th minute Ferdinand Petre shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hubert Sharp saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 88thth minute of the game Ferdinand Petre who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but AFC Richmond's Hubert Sharp was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 92 minutes, Thanos Psarros mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the AFC Richmond and the Purcaresti CSS players grew even worse after the yellow card.
