The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute of the match, Armin Oberrauch tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Piero Kahn saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 14th minute Arrigo Santarelli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Piero Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 21 minutes into the game, Bustos Teijeira was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Taltun SC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave LEBEG Team the free kick. After 21 played minutes Taltun SC got a freekick which was hit by Bustos Teijeira. The supporters of LEBEG Team booed when Taltun SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. José-Francisco Ojero didn't get a good kick on the ball. Arrigo Santarelli recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 26 minutes of play, LEBEG Team's Arrigo Santarelli made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Piero Kahn was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ulises Madrid received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. La Para tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arrigo Santarelli in the 31st minute of play forced Taltun SC's goalkeeper Piero Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ulises Madrid sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as LEBEG Team's Arrigo Santarelli slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Piero Kahn. That made the score 2-0 after 36 minutes of play. After 38 played minutes LEBEG Team got a freekick which was hit by Armin Oberrauch. Jose-Antonio Fortuño charged in rather forcefully in the 43rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jose-Antonio Fortuño the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Taltun SC made a substitution. Gabi Batistuta replaced Xines Medel. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Arrigo Santarelli stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Taltun SC's Piero Kahn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fedele Lucantoni in the 61st minute of play. La Para showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gabi Batistuta, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Piero Kahn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arrigo Santarelli in the 72nd minute of the match. A collision led to Taltun SC getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Xzavion Bustos hit a great ball. Bustos Teijeira made in the 83rd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Xavon Rolan however managed to control. Arrigo Santarelli blasted a shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Piero Kahn having to make a save. La Para took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gabi Batistuta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the last second La Para throw himself and got hold of the ball when Gabi Batistuta in the 88thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gabi Batistuta in the 88th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg La Para saved LEBEG Team from getting behind. After 88 minutes, Gabi Batistuta made it 3-2 with a short kick to the right side. LEBEG Team's La Para tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 91st match minute, Taltun SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Xzavion Bustos to maneuver through the defense. 93 minutes into the match, Taltun SC's goal looked a bit too open when Fedele Lucantoni came free, but Piero Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. José-Francisco Ojero hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. In the 96th minute, Jose-Antonio Fortuño hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. LEBEG Team's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
