Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Anti Sina in the 7th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pitt Frøne prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to CLUB ATLETICO RIVER PLATE getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Pascual Deunoro hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Otto Fesik got free with Aaron Karlstedt in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Eriberto Abeita kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. In the 18th minute Anti Sina shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pitt Frøne saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aaron Karlstedt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Otto Fesik, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. The supporters of PICCOLE PESTI booed when CLUB ATLETICO RIVER PLATE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gonzalo Tohias didn't get a good kick on the ball. 42 minutes into the match, Otto Fesik notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of CLUB ATLETICO RIVER PLATE's Aaron Karlstedt. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anti Sina in the 47th minute of play forced PICCOLE PESTI's goalkeeper Pitt Frøne to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Edgardo Tauro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Otto Fesik had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Aaron Karlstedt. CLUB ATLETICO RIVER PLATE's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Otto Fesik was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. PICCOLE PESTI's attentive Carlo Bocchi managed to snatch the ball when Gonzalo Tohias made a throw-in in the 72nd minute of the game. CLUB ATLETICO RIVER PLATE's Aaron Karlstedt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emanuele Melis in the 83rd minute of play. Aaron Karlstedt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Saul Jaen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Emanuele Melis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Aaron Karlstedt was relentless in the 90th minute of the game. 92 minutes had been played when some careless play by CLUB ATLETICO RIVER PLATE's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. The PICCOLE PESTI fans cheered their team off the field, for while CLUB ATLETICO RIVER PLATE had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
