Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Attard Gunners's Amadeo Rapinett played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wlodzimierz Penczkowski in the 2nd minute of play. Daniel Dolfo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Amadeo Rapinett tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Amadeo Rapinett made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Dolfo in the 12th minute of play. Attard Gunners's Amadeo Rapinett played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Dolfo in the 14th minute of play. 15 minutes into the game, Rolando Egun was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cementerio Club's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Attard Gunners the free kick. In the 15th minute, Rolando Egun hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Attard Gunners's zone, Daniel Dolfo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Amadeo Rapinett came out of the goal and Daniel Dolfo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Andrew Cuschieri fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Attard Gunners's protests and gave Andrew Cuschieri a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Cementerio Club booed when Attard Gunners was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andrew Cuschieri didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Michael Testaferrata Olivier got free with Domingos Urtun in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 30th minute Wlodzimierz Penczkowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amadeo Rapinett saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 37 minutes of play, Attard Gunners's Michael Testaferrata Olivier made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Domingos Urtun was left in no man's land by his defense there! 45 minutes into the match, Gustavo Leocadio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Amadeo Rapinett. Attard Gunners's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gustavo Leocadio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Daniel Dolfo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Vicente Txindoki fell near the penalty area in the 60th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cementerio Club's protests and gave Vicente Txindoki a yellow card for diving instead. Attard Gunners made a substitution. Mario Pullicino replaced Joshua Demanuele. Vicente Txindoki kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. 72 minutes into the game, Fabio Vassallo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Attard Gunners's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cementerio Club the free kick. A collision led to Attard Gunners getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Fabio Vassallo hit a great ball. After having played for 73 minutes, Daniel Dolfo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cementerio Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Dolfo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cementerio Club's Domingos Urtun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andrea Xuereb in the 78th minute of play. The supporters of Cementerio Club booed when Attard Gunners was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andrew Cuschieri didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cementerio Club's Daniel Dolfo got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 86 minutes into the match, Cementerio Club's goal looked a bit too open when Andrea Xuereb came free, but Domingos Urtun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Attard Gunners made a substitution. Lawrence De Marco replaced Michael Testaferrata Olivier. After 89 played minutes Attard Gunners got a freekick which was hit by Andrew Cuschieri. German Pezzella recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Cementerio Club players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
