The referee showed Mazinho Barral the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Mazinho Barral hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. Orlando Dante took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eddy Hennicke, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Orlando Dante made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jürgen Konietzko in the 12th minute of play. Nicolas Sousa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Utz Bauer having to make a save. When the match had gone on for 16 minutes, Jürgen Konietzko put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Orlando Dante. 27 minutes into the match, Balus Treter's goal looked a bit too open when Nicolas Sousa came free, but Utz Bauer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Robert Deipenbrock received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Orlando Dante tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Utz Bauer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicolas Sousa in the 70th minute of play. Nicolas Sousa might have been able to make a better finish in the 74th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Utz Bauer. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nicolas Sousa ran back to his position shaking his head. When Chiquinho de Lima was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 75 minutes had been played. In a very dangerous position, a player in Montesclarense E.C. fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 74th minute. Penalty! Montesclarense E.C.:s Orlando Dante showed great skill when he stopped Mathias Lösch:s penalty. Jürgen Konietzko received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute.
