The crowd rose to their feet as Yavuz Bülent İlkim kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Arif Erva. That made the score 1-0 in the 8 minute of play. Thomas Ravelli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mauri Icardi in the 11th minute of the match. When Abidin Taşkın fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored S⚽ma S⚽tes Sp⚽r's protests and gave Abidin Taşkın a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to S⚽ma S⚽tes Sp⚽r getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Abidin Taşkın hit a great ball. 14 minutes into the match, Håkan Šuker notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of S⚽ma S⚽tes Sp⚽r's Thomas Ravelli. When Oscar Aceves fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ► CeRR aHPaS a J K◄'s protests and gave Oscar Aceves a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of S⚽ma S⚽tes Sp⚽r booed when ► CeRR aHPaS a J K◄ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oscar Aceves didn't get a good kick on the ball. Arif Erva made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marcu Ianculescu in the 25th minute. Thomas Ravelli stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Håkan Šuker's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. After having played for 43 minutes, Håkan Šuker managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ► CeRR aHPaS a J K◄'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Håkan Šuker was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 45 minutes into the match, ► CeRR aHPaS a J K◄'s Håkan Šuker sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Thomas Ravelli narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 46 minutes into the match, ► CeRR aHPaS a J K◄'s goalkeeper Arif Erva had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marcu Ianculescu. Anastasio Lekubegi hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mauri Icardi made a kick off. Thomas Ravelli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mauri Icardi in the 51st minute of play. In the 53rd minute ► CeRR aHPaS a J K◄ were awarded a corner. Ferdi Tecelli went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Karhan Başeskioğlu almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but S⚽ma S⚽tes Sp⚽r's Thomas Ravelli did a great save. Yavuz Bülent İlkim received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Arif Erva tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 73 minutes, Eduardo Camavinga managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. S⚽ma S⚽tes Sp⚽r's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eduardo Camavinga was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. ► CeRR aHPaS a J K◄'s Arif Erva played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wang Rong Jing in the 80th minute of play. When ► CeRR aHPaS a J K◄'s Mauri Icardi in the 84th minute got a chance for a shot 84th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye S⚽ma S⚽tes Sp⚽r's goalie prevented a goal. Mauri Icardi who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 84thth minute tested the skills of Thomas Ravelli when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 85 played minutes S⚽ma S⚽tes Sp⚽r got a freekick which was hit by Emanuel Garoa. Thomas Ravelli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Şehzade Gençyaz in the 90th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Håkan Šuker managed to get in a good position for a shot. ► CeRR aHPaS a J K◄'s supporters rose to their feet, but Håkan Šuker was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Thomas Ravelli breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. S⚽ma S⚽tes Sp⚽r's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
