In the 28th minute Liu Hui Qi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pepe Yates saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The corner led Randkleve's Jørgen Eisland to fire away a dangerous shot which Pepe Yates despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vagn Kildebro got free with Pepe Yates in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Inter de Chillán getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Edgardo Abdallah hit a great ball. Pepe Yates showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Liu Hui Qi, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. 39 minutes into the game, Vagn Kildebro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Pepe Yates was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vagn Kildebro got free with Pepe Yates in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alcides López made a kick off. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Randkleve had played much better football throughout.
