The audience thought a goal was coming when Herbert Lindberg got free with Luca Iosif in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 16 minutes into the match, Torino SSA's goal looked a bit too open when George Brășneanu came free, but Benjamin de Mendonça reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 17th match minute, Torino SSA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mateus de Toledo to maneuver through the defense. In the 19th minute, Mugur Zbanţ hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Benjamin de Mendonça took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from George Brășneanu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. But to his dismay, Luizão Loureiro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. After 45 played minutes Torino SSA got a freekick which was hit by Osvaldo Linhares. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Luizão Loureiro was the one to do the kick off. After 52 played minutes Galati Harbour Cats got a freekick which was hit by Remus Bercea. Luca Iosif showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guilherme Rauh in the 53rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Guilherme Rauh in the 59th minute of play forced Galati Harbour Cats's goalkeeper Luca Iosif to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 60th minute Luizão Loureiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luca Iosif saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 64 played minutes Galati Harbour Cats got a freekick which was hit by George Brășneanu. After 77 played minutes Galati Harbour Cats got a freekick which was hit by Robert Aurelianu. Fabiano Andreoli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luca Iosif came out of the goal in the 80th minute to try and stop a shot by Torino SSA's Guilherme Rauh. But to his dismay, Guilherme Rauh quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. After taking down the ball on Galati Harbour Cats's corner Manole Ghiondea fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Benjamin de Mendonça quite easily take care of the ball. Torino SSA's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
