After 20 minutes of play, Nippur de Lagash 2's Casimiro Cordarell made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nuno Palomera was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience was convinced that Casimiro Cordarell's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nuno Palomera was relentless in the 27th minute of the game. But to his dismay, Angelino Urriola quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. In the 38th minute, Casimiro Cordarell left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Nippur de Lagash 2 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Casimiro Cordarell's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nuno Palomera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 40th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benjamin De Mitri in the 47th minute of play forced Res Non Verba's goalkeeper Nuno Palomera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half Nippur de Lagash 2 were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Casimiro Cordarell stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Nuno Palomera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Casimiro Cordarell in the 51st minute. Narciso Chavarri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tito Chayo having to interfere. 55 minutes into the game, Res Non Verba's Narciso Chavarri nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tito Chayo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. 60 minutes into the match, Res Non Verba's goal looked a bit too open when Andres Mateus came free, but Nuno Palomera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Narciso Chavarri in the 61st minute of play forced Nippur de Lagash 2's goalkeeper Tito Chayo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nuno Palomera made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Casimiro Cordarell sent off a good shot on target. Tito Chayo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Narciso Chavarri in the 67th minute of play. Res Non Verba's Adalberto Salazar was substituted for Angelino Urriola. Narciso Agudiez made in the 71st minute of the game a quick throw-in and Martino Maeda immediately put the ball in play. If Casimiro Cordarell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Blasco Cao kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. The long shot by Tobias Uxio in the 79th minute really tested Nuno Palomera's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. In the 81st minute of the match, Benjamin De Mitri tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Nuno Palomera saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 83rd minute Narciso Chavarri shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tito Chayo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Narciso Chavarri hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. In the 94th match minute, Nippur de Lagash 2 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benjamin Navarro to maneuver through the defense.
