The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of THE CRYSTAL SHIP booed when Maravilla was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Claudio Biaggio didn't get a good kick on the ball. 6 minutes into the match, THE CRYSTAL SHIP's goal looked a bit too open when Saul Francho came free, but Avram Nițoi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Dan Eftimiu came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the THE CRYSTAL SHIP fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dan Eftimiu couldn't finish the play. 13 minutes into the match, Maravilla's Saul Francho sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Avram Nițoi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of Maravilla booed when THE CRYSTAL SHIP was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sorin Itoafă didn't get a good kick on the ball. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The audience was convinced that Saul Francho's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Avram Nițoi was relentless in the 30th minute of the game. Nicolas Kiliz made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Remus Agudaru sent off a good shot on target. After 34 played minutes Sorin Stoica rounded Maravilla's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-1. Dan Eftimiu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicolas Kiliz having to interfere. After having played for 41 minutes, Sorin Stoica managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. THE CRYSTAL SHIP's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sorin Stoica was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Julian Urritz charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Julian Urritz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The tension between the THE CRYSTAL SHIP and the Maravilla players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 54th match minute, THE CRYSTAL SHIP was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edgar Josan to maneuver through the defense. Nicolas Kiliz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sorin Stoica's shot from short distance in the 58th minute. Sorin Stoica struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Nicolas Kiliz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for THE CRYSTAL SHIP. 63 minutes into the match, Maravilla's Saul Francho sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Avram Nițoi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Avram Nițoi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Saul Francho in the 66th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Claudiu Balcan during the 69th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 69th minute, Claudiu Balcan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Remus Agudaru had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. If Dan Eftimiu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Despite being the better team, THE CRYSTAL SHIP failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
