Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Manuel Porto started the match with the kick off. In the 4th minute Manuel Porto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arturo Gilabert saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 15 minutes into the match, Sporting Clube de Gaya's goalkeeper António Trubin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Matias Chepe. After 20 played minutes PLUMIN got a freekick which was hit by Matias Chepe. In the 21st minute, Isaac Göransson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Arturo Gilabert made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jorge Lisboa in the 24th minute of play. Fredy Montero took the ball and in the 26 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Arturo Gilabert. Arturo Gilabert dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Arturo Gilabert made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from João Tinoco in the 30th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manuel Porto in the 31st minute of play forced PLUMIN's goalkeeper Arturo Gilabert to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 35 minutes into the match, PLUMIN's goal looked a bit too open when João Tinoco came free, but Arturo Gilabert reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Octavio Deunoro took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 37th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for António Trubin. Sporting Clube de Gaya's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 42nd minute, Fredy Montero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fredy Montero in the 45th minute of play forced PLUMIN's goalkeeper Arturo Gilabert to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Matias Chepe made a kick off. After having played for 52 minutes, Jorge Lisboa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sporting Clube de Gaya's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jorge Lisboa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 55th match minute, Sporting Clube de Gaya was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Manuel Porto to maneuver through the defense. 58 minutes into the match, PLUMIN's goal looked a bit too open when Manuel Porto came free, but Arturo Gilabert reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. PLUMIN's Arturo Gilabert played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manuel Porto in the 58th minute of play. Jorge Lisboa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Arturo Gilabert made a huge save. Arturo Gilabert took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aparício Silveira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Arturo Gilabert came out of the goal in the 61st minute to try and stop a shot by Sporting Clube de Gaya's Manuel Porto. But to his dismay, Manuel Porto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. PLUMIN's Arturo Gilabert proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save PLUMIN from getting a goal against them. In the 71st minute, Manuel Porto made a precise shot to the right of Arturo Gilabert. PLUMIN's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. Fredy Montero's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Arturo Gilabert firmly grabbed it by the left post. Arturo Gilabert made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aparício Silveira in the 78th minute. Arturo Gilabert made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jorge Lisboa in the 80th minute of play. When Octavio Deunoro fell near the penalty area in the 88th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored PLUMIN's protests and gave Octavio Deunoro a yellow card for diving instead. After 88 played minutes PLUMIN got a freekick which was hit by Octavio Deunoro. After 90 minutes, Everardo Etxahun mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the PLUMIN and the Sporting Clube de Gaya players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to PLUMIN getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Everardo Etxahun hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fredy Montero got free with Arturo Gilabert in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Sporting Clube de Gaya's Jorge Lisboa got a free kick in the 93rd minute. Arturo Gilabert showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aparício Silveira, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. The PLUMIN fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Sporting Clube de Gaya were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
