Eduardo Pereyra made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. In the 18th match minute, Charmander City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristian Quintan to maneuver through the defense. Hubert Berggren recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Charmander City's Sharma Rojo quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Cláudio das Neves, made in the 21st minute of the game. Eduardo Pereyra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valentin Beckeman in the 22nd minute of the match. In the 24th minute Cristian Quintan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gustav Wallengren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hubert Berggren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Eduardo Pereyra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 31 minutes into the match, Charmander City's goal looked a bit too open when Valentin Beckeman came free, but Eduardo Pereyra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eduardo Pereyra showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valentin Beckeman, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Gustav Wallengren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edgardo Tibalt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The goalkeeper, Gustav Wallengren, was totally fooled by Charmander City's Herminio Mino, who 47 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. The Charmander City players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Pihl United were winning 1-3.

The wind increased when Cristian Quintan made the kick off in the second half. Eduardo Pereyra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Enrique Ferreira in the 52nd minute of play. Eduardo Pereyra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valentin Beckeman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 57 minutes into the match, Valentin Beckeman had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Eduardo Pereyra. Charmander City's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Valentin Beckeman was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-4. Mei Xing Qiang took the ball and in the 60 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gustav Wallengren. Gustav Wallengren dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-4. Luc Fontaine hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. In the 71st minute Mei Xing Qiang shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gustav Wallengren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 74 minutes into the match, Charmander City's goalkeeper Eduardo Pereyra had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Enrique Ferreira. A sloppy throw-in by Chico Dias in the 75th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Charmander City's Probo Łęta. Charmander City's Leopoldo Abajas got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Charmander City's Claudio Lopez was substituted for Iker Cordairo. When the match had gone on for 84 minutes, Ivan Ponce put it in 3-4 from a short distance just to the right of Gustav Wallengren. When Leopoldo Abajas fell near the penalty area in the 86th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Charmander City's protests and gave Leopoldo Abajas a yellow card for diving instead.
