With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. When Victoriano Quintin fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Deportivo Balvanera's protests and gave Victoriano Quintin a yellow card for diving instead. In the 12th minute, one of Deportivo Balvanera:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Deportivo Balvanera. Ciro Gombal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Christian Bale, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. In the 23rd minute, Christian Bale hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Playa Malvín's Estavan Virto got control of the ball when Florentino Petrigai tried to sneak it across the goal line. Estavan Virto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vinicio Checa in the 28th minute of the match. 29 minutes into the match, Deportivo Balvanera's goal looked a bit too open when Gaufred Betanzos came free, but Ciro Gombal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Playa Malvín booed when Deportivo Balvanera was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lisandro López didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ciro Gombal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gaufred Betanzos in the 37th minute of play. Christian Bale was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. After having played for 40 minutes, Gaufred Betanzos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Playa Malvín's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gaufred Betanzos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 42nd minute Christian Bale shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ciro Gombal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ciro Gombal didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Christian Bale went, in the 42nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. With a little luck, Playa Malvín's Estavan Virto got control of the ball when Vinicio Checa tried to sneak it across the goal line. Vinicio Checa came free with the goalkeeper in the 45th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Estavan Virto could save by the left post. Christian Bale struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Ciro Gombal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Playa Malvín.
The wind increased when Gaufred Betanzos made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christian Bale in the 52nd minute of play forced Deportivo Balvanera's goalkeeper Ciro Gombal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Deportivo Balvanera's goalie and right to Christian Bale. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Deportivo Balvanera's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vinicio Checa in the 63rd minute of play forced Playa Malvín's goalkeeper Estavan Virto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Estavan Virto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lisandro López in the 66th minute of the match. Estavan Virto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vinicio Checa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 80 minutes into the match, Playa Malvín's goal looked a bit too open when Vinicio Checa came free, but Estavan Virto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 91 minutes, Ciro Gombal successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. A collision led to Playa Malvín getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Christian Bale hit a great ball. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Playa Malvín walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
