After a rather tough play, Real Sociedad's Gaël Janssens got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Libertad Sarmiento recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Galo na Veia FC™'s Horácio Donato played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Libertad Sarmiento in the 19th minute of play. Horácio Donato showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Libertad Sarmiento, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. A collision led to Galo na Veia FC™ getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Joélson Araújo hit a great ball. In the 31st minute, Celsinho Capixaba hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Frédéric Pantel kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Libertad Sarmiento's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Horácio Donato read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. In the 43rdth minute of the game Wilfried Spaniol who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Real Sociedad's Sauveur Lisundia was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Galo na Veia FC™'s Celsinho Capixaba got a free kick in the 46th minute. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Mário Mattos hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Igor Dillies in the 54th minute of play forced Galo na Veia FC™'s goalkeeper Horácio Donato to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Maciej Żurawski kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Sauveur Lisundia. That made the score 0-1 in the 57 minute of play. Maciej Żurawski scored 0-2 in the 60th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sauveur Lisundia, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 64th minute of the match, Hulk Bolt tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Sauveur Lisundia saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Wilfried Spaniol struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Sauveur Lisundia didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Galo na Veia FC™. Maciej Żurawski's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Sauveur Lisundia firmly grabbed it by the left post. Galo na Veia FC™'s Maciej Żurawski got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Joélson Araújo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Igor Dillies in the 72nd minute of play forced Galo na Veia FC™'s goalkeeper Horácio Donato to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 75 minutes into the match, Real Sociedad's goal looked a bit too open when Hulk Bolt came free, but Sauveur Lisundia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Real Sociedad's Sauveur Lisundia proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to save Real Sociedad from getting a goal against them. Horácio Donato took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Libertad Sarmiento, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gaël Janssens kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match.
