In the 6th minute of the match Celestiales got a corner. Olimpo de Bahia Blanca's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Armando Cresenciano ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Celestiales's corner Armando Cresenciano fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Rigoberto Mancio quite easily take care of the ball. When Celestiales's Bernabe Sancho in the 7th minute got a chance for a shot 7th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Olimpo de Bahia Blanca's goalie prevented a goal. Celestiales's Bernabe Sancho got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Bernabe Sancho came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Celestiales fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bernabe Sancho couldn't finish the play. In the 19th match minute, Olimpo de Bahia Blanca was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Siro Satordi to maneuver through the defense. Bernabe Sancho might have been able to make a better finish in the 20th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rigoberto Mancio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bernabe Sancho ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bernabe Sancho got free with Rigoberto Mancio in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Rigoberto Mancio was a little too slow when Bernabe Sancho got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 28th minute. The score was now 1-0. Martin Frans charged in rather forcefully in the 33rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Martin Frans the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Olimpo de Bahia Blanca's Martin Frans got a free kick in the 33rd minute. In the 34thth minute of the game Bernabe Sancho who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Olimpo de Bahia Blanca's Rigoberto Mancio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Olimpo de Bahia Blanca's Rigoberto Mancio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save Olimpo de Bahia Blanca from getting a goal against them. Rigoberto Mancio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bernabe Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 38 minutes into the match, Bernabe Sancho had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rigoberto Mancio. Olimpo de Bahia Blanca's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bernabe Sancho was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. The supporters of Olimpo de Bahia Blanca booed when Celestiales was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bernabe Sancho didn't get a good kick on the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bernabe Sancho stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Celestiales's Bernabe Sancho got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 56th minute the ball was on its way in behind Olimpo de Bahia Blanca's goalkeeper Rigoberto Mancio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 66th match minute, Celestiales was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vasco Benedetti to maneuver through the defense. Celestiales's Lázaro Roldanillo was substituted for Bernabe Sancho. In the 67th minute, Vasco Benedetti hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Martin Frans hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Rigoberto Mancio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lázaro Roldanillo in the 72nd minute of play. The corner led Celestiales's Armando Cresenciano to fire away a dangerous shot which Rigoberto Mancio despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 76th match minute, Olimpo de Bahia Blanca was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Siro Satordi to maneuver through the defense. Rigoberto Mancio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lázaro Roldanillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. A sloppy throw-in by Martin Frans in the 79th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Celestiales's Damian Noe. Martin Frans made in the 85th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Delmar Erauso however managed to control. Lázaro Roldanillo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Rigoberto Mancio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lázaro Roldanillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. For all the effort they put into the match, the Olimpo de Bahia Blanca players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Celestiales.
