Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Sakis Samarakos started the match with the kick off. In the 4th match minute, Seahawks V55 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kostas Argyroulis to maneuver through the defense. In the 10th minute, Pete Sampras made a precise shot to the right of Antonis Belsis. Seahawks V55's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. A hard shot 12 in the game by Börje Frisk from a close distance when the talented Antonis Belsis managed to make a qualified save. Seahawks V55's players were relieved. After 15 played minutes MAFFIAN got a freekick which was hit by Mats Wilander. If Pete Sampras had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aron Dahlbom stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Stavros Spetzos's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. Seahawks V55's Antonis Belsis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save Seahawks V55 from getting a goal against them. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sakis Samarakos in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aron Dahlbom saved MAFFIAN from getting behind. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Stavros Spetzos during the 39th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 39th minute, Stavros Spetzos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to MAFFIAN getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Börje Frisk hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Stavros Spetzos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Seahawks V55's supporters rose to their feet, but Stavros Spetzos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aron Dahlbom breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Andre Agassi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Östen Vennersten fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored MAFFIAN's protests and gave Östen Vennersten a yellow card for diving instead. Östen Vennersten kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Stavros Spetzoss short, quick shot in the 54thth minute got Aron Dahlbom to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Börje Frisk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Sakis Samarakos's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 61stth minute, Aron Dahlbom skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Antonis Belsis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pete Sampras in the 64th minute of play. In the 65th minute, Pete Sampras hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With an all-out effort, Seahawks V55's Aron Dahlbom threw himself towards the right post 67 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Sakis Samarakos, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Stavros Spetzos came free with the goalkeeper in the 73rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Aron Dahlbom could save by the left post. Stavros Spetzos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aron Dahlbom read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 82nd minute of play. Stavros Spetzos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aron Dahlbom having to interfere. In the 87th minute Andre Agassi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Antonis Belsis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kostas Argyroulis hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. 89 minutes into the game, MAFFIAN's Pete Sampras nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Antonis Belsis made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Antonis Belsis came out of the goal in the 94th minute to try and stop a shot by MAFFIAN's Börje Frisk. But to his dismay, Börje Frisk quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. MAFFIAN's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
