The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Aktaç Tansan hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. Ace Mace showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Robert Dinamite, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. 10 minutes into the match, Sun Skywalker had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Miguel Prod'Homme. Suprs Academia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sun Skywalker was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Attila Kádár sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sun Skywalker got free with Miguel Prod'Homme in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Nico Ota's late challenge caught a Stardust Unicorns XI's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nico Ota helped the player get up and apologised. In the 18th minute, Nico Ota hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Isak Benett blasted a shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Miguel Prod'Homme having to make a save. Ace Mace took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Robert Dinamite, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 25 played minutes Suprs Academia got a freekick which was hit by Vítor Freitas. In the 26th minute Attila Kádár shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Miguel Prod'Homme saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Attila Kádár who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 28thth minute tested the skills of Miguel Prod'Homme when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Aktaç Tansan received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Miguel Prod'Homme came out and tried to block the shot, but Aktaç Tansan slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 29th minute. The supporters of Stardust Unicorns XI booed when Suprs Academia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Robert Dinamite didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 37th minute, Sun Skywalker got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Suprs Academia's zone, Attila Kádár stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Miguel Prod'Homme came out of the goal and Attila Kádár tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 43 minutes into the match, Stardust Unicorns XI's goal looked a bit too open when Gonsalvo Ramos came free, but Ace Mace reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gonsalvo Ramos's late challenge caught a Stardust Unicorns XI's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gonsalvo Ramos helped the player get up and apologised. When Aktaç Tansan came up free with the goalie in the 48th minute, the Stardust Unicorns XI fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aktaç Tansan couldn't finish the play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Robert Dinamite stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute Attila Kádár shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Miguel Prod'Homme saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nico Ota was shown his second yellow card after 58 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After some careless play in the Stardust Unicorns XI defense, Gonsalvo Ramos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ace Mace. The Stardust Unicorns XI fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ace Mace should have stopped the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Benny Bennis during the 82nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Stardust Unicorns XI getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Benny Bennis hit a great ball. Stardust Unicorns XI's Ace Mace proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save Stardust Unicorns XI from getting a goal against them. Miguel Prod'Homme stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sun Skywalker's shot from short distance in the 86th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Attila Kádár in the 92nd minute of play forced Suprs Academia's goalkeeper Miguel Prod'Homme to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Stardust Unicorns XI had won after a very even match.
