In the 10th minute Leonardo Soter shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gelu Lepuș saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 12 minutes into the match, Club Atletico Los Andes's goalkeeper Nana Lider had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Válbson Paiva. 13 minutes into the game, Leonardo Soter was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Club Atletico Los Andes's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cadu Team the free kick. In the 14th minute of the match, Válbson Paiva got a very nice opportunity to score, but Nana Lider was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Cadu Team's attentive Mário Secco managed to snatch the ball when Carlos Branco made a throw-in in the 16th minute of the game. After 24 minutes, Mattias Downing mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cadu Team and the Club Atletico Los Andes players grew even worse after the yellow card. Mattias Downing kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. In the 25th minute, Guillermo Manex hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nana Lider made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Válbson Paiva in the 28th minute of play. Carlos Caneças recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gelu Lepuș showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gerardo Gaxan, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Gelu Lepuș showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gerardo Gaxan in the 41st minute of the match. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

After 51 played minutes Cadu Team got a freekick which was hit by Ediberto da Rocha. Cadu Team's Gelu Lepuș proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save Cadu Team from getting a goal against them. Gerardo Gaxans short, quick shot in the 54thth minute got Gelu Lepuș to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Nana Lider stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Válbson Paiva's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. Nana Lider showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Válbson Paiva, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Gerardo Gaxans short, quick shot in the 60thth minute got Gelu Lepuș to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Mattias Downing managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cadu Team's supporters rose to their feet, but Mattias Downing was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nana Lider breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Válbson Paiva in the 64th minute of play forced Club Atletico Los Andes's goalkeeper Nana Lider to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zézinho Paranaense kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Gelu Lepuș made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when 徐文枫 sent off a good shot on target. The Cadu Team fans' excitement grew in the 72nd match minute when Cadu Team's Válbson Paiva looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Gerardo Gaxan's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 76thth minute, Gelu Lepuș skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 79 minutes in the game Carlos Branco did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to 徐文枫. The audience was convinced that Válbson Paiva's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nana Lider was relentless in the 85th minute of the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ediberto da Rocha during the 87th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Zé Carlos Gerber was slow to take the kick. During this time Cadu Team's players had a chance to rest. The corner led to Cadu Team's Válbson Paiva getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Many of Club Atletico Los Andes's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Club Atletico Los Andes may have spent more time on the ball, but Cadu Team were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
