The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 5th minute, Ron Staarman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 9 minutes into the game, Edelmiro Senin cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Anthonio Villyn was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Timothy Rompen hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. In the 13th minute of the match Ron Staarman sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Anthonio Villyn skillfully saved the ball. In the game's 13th minute FC MIDWAY's Ron Staarman took a hard shot from long distance, a kick which went into the net just to the right of Anthonio Villyn and thus the score was 0-2. In the 17th match minute, KFC Paal-Tervant was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dieter Haelemans to maneuver through the defense. 18 minutes into the game, FC MIDWAY's Edelmiro Senin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Anthonio Villyn made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. The supporters of KFC Paal-Tervant booed when FC MIDWAY was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edelmiro Senin didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the KFC Paal-Tervant defense, Edelmiro Senin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Anthonio Villyn. The KFC Paal-Tervant fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Anthonio Villyn should have stopped the shot. 28 minutes into the game, FC MIDWAY's Edelmiro Senin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Anthonio Villyn made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edelmiro Senin in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Anthonio Villyn prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Edelmiro Senin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Edelmiro Senin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Edelmiro Senin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Anthonio Villyn having to make a save. Anthonio Villyn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edelmiro Senin in the 44th minute of the match. After the first half FC MIDWAY were leading 0-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Edelmiro Senin made the kick off in the second half. KFC Paal-Tervant's Anthonio Villyn proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 51st minute of the match, managed to save KFC Paal-Tervant from getting a goal against them. Edelmiro Senin might have been able to make a better finish in the 54th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Anthonio Villyn. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Edelmiro Senin ran back to his position shaking his head. Anthonio Villyn stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edelmiro Senin's shot from short distance in the 60th minute. KFC Paal-Tervant's Anthonio Villyn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edelmiro Senin in the 62nd minute of play. Edelmiro Senin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Anthonio Villyn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edelmiro Senin, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. In the 67th minute, Dieter Haelemans hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Anthonio Villyn didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Edelmiro Senin went, in the 69th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-6 was the resulting score. 77 minutes into the match, Ömer Omerović notched a goal, 0-8, to the right of KFC Paal-Tervant's Anthonio Villyn. Anthonio Villyn was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Edelmiro Senin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Anthonio Villyn read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 80th minute of play. Anthonio Villyn came out of the goal in the 82nd minute to try and stop a shot by FC MIDWAY's Edelmiro Senin. But to his dismay, Edelmiro Senin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-9. Dieter Haelemans charged in rather forcefully in the 84th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dieter Haelemans the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, KFC Paal-Tervant's Dieter Haelemans got a free kick in the 84th minute. If Edelmiro Senin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. FC MIDWAY's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
