The crowd rose to their feet as Coritiba Foot Ball Club's Thiago Machado slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Grant Blacknell. That made the score 1-1 after 14 minutes of play. Walmir Teles scored 2-1 in the 18th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Grant Blacknell, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 26 minutes, Thiago Machado made it 3-1 with a short kick to the right side. Leicester Lions's Grant Blacknell tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 30th minute, Leicester Lions's Anthony Heywood seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Anthony Heywood the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The wind increased when Thiago Machado made the kick off in the second half. Coritiba Foot Ball Club's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Fiori Tasso in the 52nd minute. The corner led Coritiba Foot Ball Club's Walmir Teles to a score. 4-3 in the 53rd minute. Camron Rhodes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Delfim Dantas made a huge save. Grant Blacknell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Caetano Ponta in the 66th minute of play. After 68 played minutes Leicester Lions got a freekick which was hit by Jack Sharp. Thiago Machado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Grant Blacknell tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Leicester Lions's Michal Budzyn got a free kick in the 71st minute. Leicester Lions made a substitution. George Pearch replaced Mike Wadham. Michal Budzyn hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. After 75 minutes Leicester Lions's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Fiori Tasso who took care of the corner kick. Walmir Teles made a great header on Coritiba Foot Ball Club's corner, it was just that Leicester Lions's Grant Blacknell managed to reach the ball for a save. 81 minutes into the match, Leicester Lions's goal looked a bit too open when Walmir Teles came free, but Grant Blacknell reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Leicester Lions's George Pearch got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Grant Blacknell took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Thiago Machado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Coritiba Foot Ball Club players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
