This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Jarle Volden as he didn't even see the shot coming. Herbert Oliszewski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Thor Gaarder, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. 13 minutes into the match, Kjønstad BF's goalkeeper Jarle Volden had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Leo Campana. Reidar Nordhaug received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Herbert Oliszewski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tim Goa made in the 18th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by KS LEW Chorzów's Robert Bugajski. The audience thought a goal was coming when Leo Campana got free with Jarle Volden in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jedrzej Hajs hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. KS LEW Chorzów's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marian Beninda was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bjarne Wennevold received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Herbert Oliszewski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Leo Campana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 37th minute of the match, Dariusz Misiewicz got a very nice opportunity to score, but Jarle Volden was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Kjønstad BF's Jarle Volden played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marian Beninda in the 44th minute of play. Thanks to some nice moves Leo Campana could shoot a difficult shot in the 45th minute, which Jarle Volden however easily saved by the left post. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Thor Gaarder stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jarle Volden came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by KS LEW Chorzów's Leo Campana. But to his dismay, Leo Campana quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Leo Campana scored 3-0 in the 56th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jarle Volden, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jarle Volden took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marian Beninda, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jarle Volden showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marian Beninda, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. KS LEW Chorzów's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Dariusz Misiewicz in the 63rd minute. After taking down the ball on KS LEW Chorzów's corner Ali Hamza Okuyan fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Jarle Volden quite easily take care of the ball. After some careless play in the Kjønstad BF defense, Roland Muusik kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jarle Volden. The Kjønstad BF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jarle Volden should have stopped the shot. In the 69th minute, Leo Campana made a precise shot to the right of Jarle Volden. Kjønstad BF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. 73 minutes into the match, Leo Campana notched a goal, 6-0, to the right of Kjønstad BF's Jarle Volden. Jarle Volden was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jarle Volden showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marian Beninda, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Robert Bugajski kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. In the 80th match minute, KS LEW Chorzów was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Robert Bugajski to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the KS LEW Chorzów defense, Thor Gaarder kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Herbert Oliszewski. The KS LEW Chorzów fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Herbert Oliszewski should have stopped the shot. In the 88th minute, Leo Campana ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jarle Volden was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-1. Tim Goa kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. KS LEW Chorzów's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
