The corner ended in Innocenzio Sesse almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Paunero's Santiago Urtats did a great save. Santiago Urtats made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Fernandez Montoto sent off a good shot on target. Adam Adamski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicolas Tancredo in the 16th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Silverio Semeno in the 17th minute of play forced Sociedad Anónima's goalkeeper Adam Adamski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Fernandez Montoto kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Santiago Urtats. That made the score 1-0 in the 22 minute of play. After having played for 27 minutes, Anier Haritz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Paunero's supporters crossed their fingers, but Anier Haritz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 29 played minutes Paunero got a freekick which was hit by Ivan Bortzaioriz. Santiago Urtats took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fernandez Montoto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Sociedad Anónima's Dinu Ghiciușca got a free kick in the 36th minute. Sociedad Anónima's Adam Adamski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Blas Arlo in the 37th minute of play. Santiago Urtats showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fernandez Montoto, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. When the match had gone on for 45 minutes, Fernandez Montoto took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Santiago Urtats to make any attempt to save it. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

After 52 played minutes Sociedad Anónima got a freekick which was hit by Innocenzio Sesse. Silverio Semeno struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Adam Adamski didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Paunero. In the 56th minute Felix Larren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Santiago Urtats saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Sociedad Anónima getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Innocenzio Sesse hit a great ball. With a little luck, Sociedad Anónima's Adam Adamski got control of the ball when Blas Arlo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Adam Adamski made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Blas Arlo sent off a good shot on target. Sociedad Anónima's defense didn't have a chance, in the 68th minute, when Blas Arlo scored to the left of an out of position Adam Adamski, making the score, 2-1. Sociedad Anónima's Iwan Awizo was substituted for Dinu Ghiciușca. Innocenzio Sesse kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Sociedad Anónima made a substitution. The supporters of Sociedad Anónima booed when Paunero was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anier Haritz didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 90th minute Silverio Semeno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adam Adamski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Sociedad Anónima fans cheered their team off the field, for while Paunero had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
