Leonardo Paz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Murilo Lopez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gerson da Rocha in the 19th minute of play. Juan Alberto Peragallo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luiz Fernando Maranhense's late challenge caught a ⚜️ Inter de Meião MzC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Luiz Fernando Maranhense helped the player get up and apologised. The crowd rose to their feet as Joãozinho Pernambucano kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Murilo Lopez. That made the score 1-1 in the 64 minute of play. Palmares Futebol Clube's Alfredo Botelho was substituted for Oswaldo Sena. After 70 minutes ⚜️ Inter de Meião MzC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ismael Secco who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Palmares Futebol Clube's Ismael Secco to fire away a dangerous shot which Murilo Lopez despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 81st minute, Chiquito Reyes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Palmares Futebol Clube booed when ⚜️ Inter de Meião MzC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Falcão Montenegro didn't get a good kick on the ball. 90 minutes into the match, ⚜️ Inter de Meião MzC's goalkeeper Murilo Lopez had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Joãozinho Pernambucano. ⚜️ Inter de Meião MzC's Aniol Sampil got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
