After a rather tough play, Wicher Wilchwy Come Back's Marek Knopek got a free kick in the 6th minute. Valer Onișoru made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Igor Drapinski in the 9th minute of play. Valer Onișoru took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zygmunt Logewnik, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Igor Drapinski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Valer Onișoru tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Witold Hryc made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sorin Nicorici in the 24th minute of play. Sorin Nicorici kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca's zone, Zygmunt Logewnik stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Valer Onișoru came out of the goal and Zygmunt Logewnik tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 31 minutes into the game, Zygmunt Logewnik recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Valer Onișoru. Zygmunt Logewnik showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. In the 34th minute, Radomir Kensicki reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Valer Onișoru. The goal made the score 2-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Igor Drapinski managed to get in a good position for a shot. Wicher Wilchwy Come Back's supporters rose to their feet, but Igor Drapinski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Valer Onișoru breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Moise Ţurlău stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Moise Ţurlău made a precise shot to the right of Witold Hryc. Wicher Wilchwy Come Back's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. After a rather tough play, PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca's Nistor Vermeşan got a free kick in the 55th minute. Milosz Paciuszko's late challenge caught a PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Milosz Paciuszko helped the player get up and apologised. Milosz Paciuszko hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Valer Onișoru showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zygmunt Logewnik, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Silver Phoenix kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Moise Ţurlău managed to get in a good position for a shot. PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca's supporters rose to their feet, but Moise Ţurlău was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Witold Hryc breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Wicher Wilchwy Come Back's Witold Hryc played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Moise Ţurlău in the 79th minute of play. 83 minutes into the match, PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca's goal looked a bit too open when Radomir Kensicki came free, but Valer Onișoru reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 88th minute the ball was on its way in behind PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca's goalkeeper Valer Onișoru, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 94th match minute, PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Silver Phoenix to maneuver through the defense. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Wicher Wilchwy Come Back had played much better football throughout.
