Adrian Bortzaioriz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emílio Motta having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in De Boedo Vengo's zone, Angelo Mendes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Salim Adas came out of the goal and Angelo Mendes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Salim Adas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edgar Tepedino in the 10th minute of the match. 11 minutes into the game, Gino Custódio lined in a short shot 1-0 behind a frustrated Emílio Motta. Salim Adas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edgar Tepedino's shot from short distance in the 16th minute. If Edgar Tepedino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 22 minutes into the match, De Boedo Vengo's goal looked a bit too open when Nuno Vasconcelos came free, but Salim Adas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 24th minute Angelo Mendes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Salim Adas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Guará FC's Angelo Mendes in the 26th minute got a chance for a shot 26th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. De Boedo Vengo's Teobaldo Fertus was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Emílio Motta in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Emílio Motta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gino Custódio, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Adrian Bortzaioriz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Emílio Motta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 40th minute Angelo Mendes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Salim Adas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Angelo Mendes in the 42nd minute of play forced De Boedo Vengo's goalkeeper Salim Adas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Angelo Mendes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Guará FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Angelo Mendes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Salim Adas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Angelo Mendes in the 52ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Salim Adas, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Gino Custódio scored 2-0 in the 54th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Emílio Motta, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. De Boedo Vengo's Salim Adas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save De Boedo Vengo from getting a goal against them. Angelo Mendess short, quick shot in the 63rdth minute got Salim Adas to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gino Custódio in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Emílio Motta saved Guará FC from getting behind. In the 68th minute De Boedo Vengo were awarded a corner. Teobaldo Fertus went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Teobaldo Fertus almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Guará FC's Emílio Motta did a great save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gino Custódio in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Emílio Motta saved Guará FC from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Guará FC's Bruninho Rodrigues got a free kick in the 75th minute. Emílio Motta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Moises Eyague, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. De Boedo Vengo's Salim Adas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save De Boedo Vengo from getting a goal against them. Angelo Mendes succeeded in the game's 89th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Angelo Mendes got free with Salim Adas in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. For all the effort they put into the match, the Guará FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for De Boedo Vengo.
