Emilio Cellucci was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but 傅凌岚 showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 9 minute of play. 傅凌岚 sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. A hard shot 15 in the game by 傅凌岚 from a close distance when the talented Emilio Cellucci managed to make a qualified save. S.S.C. NAPOLI's players were relieved. In the 17th minute Felice Aceto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kenneth Knudsen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. NAPOLI's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Christian Dørum who took care of the corner kick. The corner led AEK FC's Christian Dørum to fire away a dangerous shot which Emilio Cellucci despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 傅凌岚 could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Emilio Cellucci made a huge save. In the 35th minute, Steve Triganza made a precise shot to the right of Emilio Cellucci. S.S.C. NAPOLI's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. After a rather tough play, S.S.C. NAPOLI's Nejat Özoğuz got a free kick in the 37th minute. In the 41st minute Alf Fredriksson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emilio Cellucci saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 43rd minute, Filippo Laurenti hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ciccio Bozzelli to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute Kent Remme shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emilio Cellucci saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Kent Remme, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 55 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Emilio Cellucci was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Emilio Cellucci showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlinhos Trancoso in the 61st minute of the match. 67 minutes into the game, Fenrir Ragnarsson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. AEK FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave S.S.C. NAPOLI the free kick. A collision led to AEK FC getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Fenrir Ragnarsson hit a great ball. Emilio Cellucci came out of the goal in the 70th minute to try and stop a shot by AEK FC's 傅凌岚. But to his dismay, 傅凌岚 quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. AEK FC made a substitution. Trygve Stormoen replaced 任远兴. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alf Fredriksson in the 75th minute of play forced S.S.C. NAPOLI's goalkeeper Emilio Cellucci to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 78thth minute of the game Alf Fredriksson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but S.S.C. NAPOLI's Emilio Cellucci was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 84th minute, Carlinhos Trancoso got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 91 minutes into the match, S.S.C. AEK FC's Kenneth Knudsen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save AEK FC from getting a goal against them. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The AEK FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while S.S.C. NAPOLI had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
