Terho Ylimäki was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the match clock showed 39 minutes, the score became 4-0 when Dósóþeus Guðbjarnason sped through Manchester United FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Terho Ylimäki. In the 47th play minute Dósóþeus Guðbjarnason came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Terho Ylimäki. 5-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
