After 8 minutes of play, Agro Imortal's Dennis Bergkamp made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Otávio Salgado was left in no man's land by his defense there! Otávio Salgado didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dennis Bergkamp went, in the 11th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Elano Damião kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Otávio Salgado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dennis Bergkamp, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Dennis Bergkamp managed to get in a good position for a shot. Agro Imortal's supporters rose to their feet, but Dennis Bergkamp was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Otávio Salgado breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Arnaldo Naldo scored 0-4 in the 19th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Otávio Salgado, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dennis Bergkamp in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Otávio Salgado saved Amaraji from getting behind. 26 minutes into the game, Dennis Bergkamp cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Otávio Salgado was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 29 minutes into the match, Dennis Bergkamp had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Otávio Salgado. Amaraji's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dennis Bergkamp was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-6. If Dennis Bergkamp had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. Otávio Salgado was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 38 minutes into the game, Agro Imortal's Dennis Bergkamp nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Otávio Salgado made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-8. Otávio Salgado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dennis Bergkamp in the 42nd minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dennis Bergkamp in the 43rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Otávio Salgado prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 45 minutes into the match, Dennis Bergkamp notched a goal, 0-9, to the right of Amaraji's Otávio Salgado. Otávio Salgado was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After the first half Agro Imortal were leading 0-9. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dino Jacinto was the one to do the kick off. Agro Imortal's Harry Stanley quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Luiz Eduardo Fontes, made in the 56th minute of the game. Dennis Bergkamp could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Otávio Salgado made a huge save. Otávio Salgado made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Arnaldo Naldo sent off a good shot on target. In the 61st minute, Dennis Bergkamp ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Otávio Salgado was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-10. Agro Imortal made a substitution. Delfim da Costa replaced Dennis Bergkamp. The Agro Imortal fans' excitement grew in the 69th match minute when Agro Imortal's Delfim da Costa looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-11 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 72nd minute, David Pereira made a precise shot to the right of Otávio Salgado. Amaraji's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-12. After a rather tough play, Amaraji's Elano Damião got a free kick in the 76th minute. 78 minutes into the match, Amaraji's goal looked a bit too open when Delfim da Costa came free, but Otávio Salgado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Otávio Salgado made an important save on a dangerous shot by Delfim da Costa in the 82nd minute. 86 minutes into the match, Delfim da Costa had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Otávio Salgado. Otávio Salgado was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Delfim da Costa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Otávio Salgado having to interfere. Osmar Baiano kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match.
