Mundial EC were awarded a corner in the 34th minute after Cestarolli FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Will de Backer took the corner. André Balada did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Leonardo Cardozo 40 minutes into the match. André Bastos hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Cestarolli FC's zone, Nils Bengtsson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leonardo Cardozo came out of the goal and Nils Bengtsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Amílton Munhoz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. André Balada fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonardo Cardozo having to interfere. After 58 minutes, Amílton Munhoz made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Cestarolli FC's Leonardo Cardozo tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 62nd minute Nils Bengtsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonardo Cardozo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Nils Bengtsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Guilherme Brito charged in rather forcefully in the 65th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Mundial EC's Alessandro de Sousa got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Amílton Munhoz in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Leonardo Cardozo saved Cestarolli FC from getting behind. Cestarolli FC's Leonardo Cardozo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amílton Munhoz in the 92nd minute of play. Leonardo Cardozo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amílton Munhoz in the 93rd minute of the match. A collision led to Cestarolli FC getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. André Bastos hit a great ball. In the 94th minute André Balada suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field.
