The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Tião Linhares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fiori Jacinto in the 3rd minute of the match. After some careless play in the PREZULO FC defense, Joélson Duarte kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tião Linhares. The PREZULO FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tião Linhares should have stopped the shot. Kauã França made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bethel Raba in the 11th minute of play. In the 13th match minute, PREZULO FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Renan Mota to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the PREZULO FC defense, Joélson Duarte kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tião Linhares. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fiori Jacinto in the 38th minute of play forced PREZULO FC's goalkeeper Tião Linhares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 39th match minute, PREZULO FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mané Corrêa to maneuver through the defense. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fiori Jacinto was the one to do the kick off. PREZULO FC's Tião Linhares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leandro Cruz in the 53rd minute of play. Joélson Duarte's late challenge caught a PREZULO FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. PREZULO FC's Tião Linhares proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save PREZULO FC from getting a goal against them. The crowd rose to their feet as Confresa futebol clube.'s Leandro Cruz slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Tião Linhares. That made the score 1-9 after 92 minutes of play. When the match was over Confresa futebol clube. could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than PREZULO FC throughout the match.
