The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Markus Åkesson hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. Sävedalen's Arne Åkesson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save Sävedalen from getting a goal against them. Arsenio Bernebe who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 12thth minute tested the skills of Arne Åkesson when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 12 played minutes Sävedalen got a freekick which was hit by Daniel Hagberg. Jonathan Tingberg kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Prudencio Bartolome in the 15th minute of play forced Sävedalen's goalkeeper Arne Åkesson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 19 minutes, Markus Åkesson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sävedalen and the Reyes F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. The audience thought a goal was coming when Arsenio Bernebe got free with Arne Åkesson in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Roy Danielsson to strike the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Sävedalen's goal looked a bit too open when Arsenio Bernebe came free, but Arne Åkesson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 68th minute, Tor Jönsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pastor Modestio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adam Valrot in the 72nd minute of play. Pastor Modestio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roy Danielsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 85th minute Reyes F.C. were awarded a corner. Maximo Abeita went to the cornerflag to take it. The goalkeeper smacked the ball away after a great corner, but Prudencio Bartolome advanced and headed the ball into goal, 2-1 in the 86th minute. Prudencio Bartolome fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arne Åkesson having to interfere. Arne Åkesson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arsenio Bernebe, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. Sävedalen were furious when Filiph Bergqvist was red carded, 96 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 96 played minutes Sävedalen got a freekick which was hit by Filiph Bergqvist. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Reyes F.C. fans cheered their team off the field, for while Sävedalen had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
