The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Christoph Hagemans showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 10th match minute, Kind of Blue was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Per Tunberg to maneuver through the defense. Kind of Blue's Jens-Ove Käcker played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Diederick Struelens in the 16th minute of play. 19 minutes into the match, Kind of Blue's goal looked a bit too open when Bart De Koq came free, but Jens-Ove Käcker reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 23rd minute, Peter Pihlgren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 24th match minute, Kind of Blue was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Samuel Asplund to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eddy Claes in the 25th minute of play forced Kind of Blue's goalkeeper Jens-Ove Käcker to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With 31 minutes on the clock, Jens Nordmark commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After a defensive mix-up in Kind of Blue's zone, Brecht De Wortelaer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jens-Ove Käcker came out of the goal and Brecht De Wortelaer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Per Tunberg kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Diederick Struelens in the 42nd minute of play forced Kind of Blue's goalkeeper Jens-Ove Käcker to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 44 minutes into the match, Diederick Struelens had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jens-Ove Käcker. Kind of Blue's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Diederick Struelens was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Bart De Koq kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Diederick Struelens to make the kick off. Kind of Blue's Jens-Ove Käcker played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Diederick Struelens in the 52nd minute of play. 56 minutes into the game, Yanniek Wellens recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jens-Ove Käcker. Yanniek Wellens showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-3. 61 minutes into the match, Kind of Blue's goal looked a bit too open when Jasper Libreghts came free, but Jens-Ove Käcker reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Purple Talents's Vic De Bruyn got a free kick in the 73rd minute. 75 minutes into the match, Kind of Blue's goal looked a bit too open when Yanniek Wellens came free, but Jens-Ove Käcker reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eddy Claes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jens-Ove Käcker having to interfere. Christoph Hagemans stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kim Samuelsson's shot from short distance in the 81st minute. In the 85th match minute, Purple Talents was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eddy Claes to maneuver through the defense. After 88 minutes, Diederick Struelens made it 0-4 with a short kick to the right side. Kind of Blue's Jens-Ove Käcker tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. A hard shot 93 in the game by Diederick Struelens from a close distance when the talented Jens-Ove Käcker managed to make a qualified save. Kind of Blue's players were relieved. After a rather tough play, Kind of Blue's Samuel Asplund got a free kick in the 94th minute. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Purple Talents walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
