Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hernan Kelemen in the 2nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ovidio Gabino prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Orlando Precioso fell near the penalty area in the 8th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Dunamis's protests and gave Orlando Precioso a yellow card for diving instead. In the 8th match minute, Dunamis was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Orlando Precioso to maneuver through the defense. Mauricio Fernanco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tin Larin in the 16th minute of the match. 17 minutes had been played when some careless play by RIVER's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Augusto Fresco was slow to take the kick. During this time Dunamis's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Dunamis's Augusto Fresco to fire away a dangerous shot which Mauricio Fernanco despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The supporters of RIVER booed when Dunamis was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cosme Ceandro didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 33rd match minute, RIVER was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Francisco Macerio to maneuver through the defense. Mauricio Fernanco didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Anibal Faro went, in the 34th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Edelmiro Teodor's late challenge caught a Dunamis's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Edelmiro Teodor helped the player get up and apologised. Edelmiro Teodor kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. The long shot by Augusto Fresco in the 42nd minute really tested Mauricio Fernanco's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal.

The wind increased when Hernan Kelemen made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Dunamis getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Epifanio Abar hit a great ball. 54 minutes into the match, RIVER's goal looked a bit too open when Carmelo Cristofor came free, but Mauricio Fernanco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 58th minute Orlando Precioso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mauricio Fernanco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ovidio Gabino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicasio Mendebal in the 60th minute of the match. Dunamis made a substitution. Israel Cordera replaced Epifanio Abar. Dunamis's Shingo León was substituted for Carmelo Cristofor. Mauricio Fernanco didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Methee Gol went, in the 70th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. In the 74th match minute, RIVER was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Higinio Nofre to maneuver through the defense. 81 minutes into the game, Gustavo Theodore recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ovidio Gabino. Gustavo Theodore showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-2. Mauricio Fernanco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Shingo León in the 85th minute of the match. 86 minutes into the match, Methee Gol had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mauricio Fernanco. RIVER's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Methee Gol was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Orlando Precioso in the 90th minute of play forced RIVER's goalkeeper Mauricio Fernanco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Dunamis getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Cosme Ceandro hit a great ball. Ovidio Gabino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gustavo Theodore in the 93rd minute of play. Ovidio Gabino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gustavo Theodore, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. For all the effort they put into the match, the RIVER players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Dunamis.
