But to his dismay, Michel Morata quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. A sloppy throw-in by Lauro Alcântara in the 14th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Prensadito Fulbo Clu's Osvaldo Tab. 26 minutes into the game, ADM Taquaras's Michel Morata nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Leonides Donostia made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lauro Alcântara during the 31st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Lauro Alcântara kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. 36 minutes into the match, Michel Morata had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Leonides Donostia. Prensadito Fulbo Clu's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Michel Morata was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Michel Morata in the 40th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Leonides Donostia prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Prensadito Fulbo Clu's Leandro Birjaio got a free kick in the 40th minute. After 41 played minutes, ADM Taquaras's Paulão Silveira shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Leonides Donostia came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in ADM Taquaras reached it. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Michel Morata to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jeronimo Orzaize in the 60th minute of play forced ADM Taquaras's goalkeeper Décio Marinho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rubinho Abreu charged in rather forcefully in the 60th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rubinho Abreu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 61 played minutes ADM Taquaras got a freekick which was hit by Rubinho Abreu. Décio Marinho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Filomeno Urki, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. In the 66thth minute of the game Jeronimo Orzaize who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ADM Taquaras's Décio Marinho was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 68 minutes into the game, Filomeno Urki cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Décio Marinho was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After having played for 72 minutes, Michel Morata managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ADM Taquaras's supporters crossed their fingers, but Michel Morata was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Prensadito Fulbo Clu's Osvaldo Tab quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Rubinho Abreu, made in the 78th minute of the game. After 80th play minutes Dito Donato shot 1-4, a short shot which went by Leonides Donostia and just under the crossbar into goal. 85 minutes in the game, Michel Morata fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Leonides Donostia having to interfere. Leonides Donostia was out of position in the 92 minute of play, and Dito Donato capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Dito Donato really showed his touch with that goal: 1-5. The ADM Taquaras supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing ADM Taquaras would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
